Receptionist/Office Assistant

Industrial sales and service company seeks a highly-motivated person with exceptional communication, administrative, and organizational, skills for a position as Administrative Office Assistant in its Memphis, TN office.  This position requires an individual to be able to handle a high volume of incoming calls and be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office platforms. 

 

Basic Responsibilities:

·       Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls

·       Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

·       Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office

·       Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

·       Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries and monitor and distribute incoming faxes.

·       Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

·       Update calendars and schedule meetings

·       Arrange travel and accommodations

·       Perform other general office duties.
